An island is a place surrounded by the sea. There we looked at the past, at the evolution of the earth. The first forms of life originated in the sea. We were fish, then mammals and we went on to build cities.
Today we looked at the world that we have built, and doubts arise.
–Hey, how old are you?
–6.
–So, you were born six years ago. You have existed for 6 years. Yes?
–Yes.
–Well the universe was born 13.400 million years ago. It’s a bit older than you.
–Yes.
–Are you familiar with the concept of the Big Bang?
–No.
–You see, the Big Bang is a theory that explains the origin of the universe. Do you get the concept of the universe?
–The universe is everything there is. The walls, the houses… Everything.
