We thought about the concept of the journey, of the traveller, the traveller who arrives at a place that is not their own. There are fundamentally two types of travellers in the world: the one who travels to fulfil a dream and the one who travels for survival.
In Lavapiés, particularly, both coexist.
“My brother is called Manuel. He lives in Germany.
When he walks down the street he often listens to Led Zeppelin.
I imagine him alone on the street, cold, following the beat of the drum, fighting, cheering himself up.
